Very hazy golden coloured body with a honey glow and a thinnish, half centimetre tall white head. Aroma of bright grassy and herbal hops, wheat, grass, alcohol, bunches of yeast, bananas and some clove spiciness. Medium-bodied; Astringent spice, yeast, grass and herbal elements show the wheat style up front, but the dry and floral qualities make this feel like almost a saison or even a belgian single. Aftertaste is pleasant and rather complex with the tastes of yeast and cloves that give way to a light and airy wheat flavour with a good deal of hops. Overall, a nice beer with a good flavour profile and still light enough to drink on a warm summer day, even when it’s around 80degrees F and you watched WWII planes go by the capital of the USA earlier in the day. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Fairfax, Virginia on 15-November-2014 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 08-May-2015.

Another remarkable milestone beer for me wow do I not plan. Fizzy yellow green pour. Nose is lemon and wheat. Tastes of wheat, lemon, lime, grains, hint of earth. Spritzer palate. Semi sweet finish.

New Beer Distributors, NYC can: Pours a dull, ugly hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is a wee bit of hops, some sugar, and a light fruitiness. Taste is much the same with a slight bit of hops in the finish. Slightly sweet. Not that memorable.

Served from can at Ballydoyle Downers Grove. Clear golden beer color under a foamy head. Zesty citrus smell, and yeast in the background. Light malts with a bit of wheat malt spice. Prickly bubbles. Bitter and citrus hop taste. Refreshing basic wheat beer. Some yeast bite to the end.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy golden with two finger fluffy white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body, light/medium carbonation, and little big bubble hops. Taste is nice herbal hops, soft wheat, some tropical fruit, and bitter/chalky finish. Pretty good american wheat.

Split a 16oz can. Poured a golden orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was straw wheat notes, wheat notes. Nice grapefruit and mango tropical notes. Touch of spice in there, nothing overpowering. Pretty enjoyable.

16oz can pours a neon orange with a finger of bright white head. Nose has a fair amount of fruit, a little tropical, some pear, some tangerine with a bit of the wheat character lurking, some mild clove and spice. Flavor is nice, lightly sweet, orange, tangerine, some green mango, mild grapefruit, some grass too. Refreshing, lightly chalky finish.

Can. Lemon, wheat malt and orange peel aroma. Pale yellow with moderate head. Sweet lemon, wheat malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Nice standard hoppy wheat.

12 ounce can into pint glass; no can dating, but was released recently. Pours hazy bright gold color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, tangerine, floral, grass, light pine, wheat, cracker, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with dank citrus/grassy hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, wheat, cracker, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, wheat, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of dank citrus/grassy hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish, Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice hoppy pale wheat ale. Nice juicy citrus/grassy hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home waiting for a repairman. Appearance is a cloudy gold with little head, light bubbling. Aroma is mostly light wheat malt, not much else. Taste is mostly malty, light bread, light wheat. Nothing too exceptional, decent. I like the can.
