Bottle shared at home. Pours black with thin beige head. Nose is boozy, sweet chocolate, grains, a touch of hops. Taste is sweet first, booze, chocolate and grains come through and it then turns to the bitter side, closing with this latter.

This beer is interesting, a good and warm stout with interesting and subtle notes of roasted malt, barrel and whisky, warm and some hop. 11.08.2019, at Bonfol, relax, enjoying the terrace and the sun, in family.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is piney hops with citrus, orange, roasted malt, pine resin, some caramel, soft wood and whiskey barrel with a touch of vanilla in the finish. Flavour is medium sweet with a decent bitterness. Body is above medium. Well-hopped and smooth, bittersweet, BA more subtle than expected. Overall quite a tasty BIPA.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is caramel, wet wood, ash, green hops. Taste is chocolate, charred wood, toffee, caramel, green hops, fairly dry. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast, citrus and whisky in the aroma. Caramel. Jameson whiskey dominating the flavor. Soft tart notes. Malty sweetish, caramel, citrus, candied fruit. This is nice.

Bottle at Mels, Vienna, 11th March 19. Pours a black beer, not so thick. Aroma was liquor, dark chocolate. Taste is barrel, bitter chocolate, whiskey, quite complex, strange for a black IPA to be barrel aged, quite good

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks zvikar. Dark brown. Stale piney hops, caramel, wood, alcohol, fruitiness, a bit of roast, sweet, bitter finish, medium-bodied, boozy. Not my thing.

33cl bottle. Euro Swap, thanks herrklemann. Bbe 25.4.2019. Poured cola brown color with a thick off white head. Aroma has whiskey, barley, bready malts, hops. Distant citrusy hops in flavor, whisky. Warming malty, good sipper, even if does not feel like a black IPA anymore. Good as it is. Can only blame myself for not drinking it earlier.
