Made popular by the craft brewers of America, Imperial IPA is a revived style of beer that pushes the boundaries of well-hopped, high-strength ales. Imperial IPA's are traditionally brewed with a high proportion of crystal malt. Our unique take sees UK hop varieties Target, Goldings and Fuggles added to the copper at multiple points during the brew, delivering a piney, earthy aroma and a distinct edge of bitterness. For extra intrigue, we've also added a hint of black pepper - giving the beer a unique spicy twist. Bottle conditioned.

500ml Bottle - Copper red with a slight haze. Dried fruit including raisins and cherries in the aroma plus notes of pine. Bitter, fruity and moderately sweet taste with raisins, sultanas, caramel, pine and some herbal notes. Slightly warming finish. More like a hoppy barley wine in my opinion.

F: bit pale tanned, medium, average retention. C: coppery, light hazy. A: malty, biscuits, citrus, vaguely fruity, caramel, pine, tropical fruits traces. T: malty backbone, grapefruits, pine, orange, caramel, biscuits, medium to full body, medium carbonation, bit warming alcohol, hmm English version for IIPA and not very suitable for ageing yet BBF: 2027, sample from 50cl bottle @ RBBSG 10/2018.

06/10/2018 - sampled from bottle on RBBSG 2018 Amber coloured, small lacing. Nose is malts, some fruit, bit syrup. Taste starts sweet malty, bit fruits, caramel, bit bitterhops, thick texture. Feels a bit like a barley wine. Weird but not bad.

Thank you! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG 2018. Near clear dark amber, little tanned head. Nose is quite malty, syrup, grain, sweet malty, herbal, sugar,… Taste is sweet malty, bread, herbal, bit of pine but low, bread, grain, insecticide,.. Soft carbonation malt soup body, IPA this is not, possibly older bottle but bottle doesn’t tell you the bottling date & actually says BBF2027 (really?). Weird like a too thin barleywine in a way, not terrible but sure as to what I should make of it.

Sampled from bottle @ late RBBSG. Clear amber color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, some toffee as always, raisins, lightly bitter. Hmm typical Fullers beer I'd say.

Bottled 500ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Dark amber/ruby red coloured, medium sized off-white head, sticky malty nose. Sweet malty, raisins, moderate alcoholic and touch of wood with again heavy alcoholic/malty sweetness in the finish. Imperial IPA no way...barleywine is much closer definition.
