Score
7.25
ABV: 12.0% IBU: - Ticks: 26
A thick Imperial Stout created in collaboration with Billie’s Bier Kafeteria - brewed as the official festival beer for Billie’s Craft Beer Fest 2019.

Taste: Chewy caramel and baked bread comes out first, before being washed down by thick freshly poured Italian espresso and orange marmalade. A powerful roasted dark chocolate character comes through, with some warming alcohol to keep you as warm as a hug from Billie himself.

On tap at Põhjala Brewery & Tap Room, Tallinn. Close to pitch black with a tiny beige head. Roasty and boozy with dark chocolate, dark fruits, caramel and alcohol. Sweet, roasty and raw. Would like to try it again on a more mature stage. Soft mouth feel and warming alcohol, but not quite my cup of tea at this point.

Pours black, small tanned head. Smell is full, roasty, bit nutty almost. Chocolaty. Taste is full, roasty, tad bitter. Mild sweetness. Bit simplistic of a stout. Higher carbo. Medium thick bodied, bit boozy. Roasty, but not that unique.

Magus, röstine, mõru, šokolaad, kohv, veits happeline, alksi on ka tunda. Pole halb, aga impy kohta suht rohmakas. Põhjalalt ootaks enamat..
