Keg at Beer & Burger, Willesden Green, London. A hazy golden orange coloured pour with a medium off white head on top that didn't last too long. Hoppy, citrus, malty, tropical fruit aroma & taste. This DIPA was really different but also quite drinkable.

440ml can from Esben, many thanks. Fragile lacing from a bubbly layer, hazy pale golden body with sediments to the last pour. Restrained smell of pineapple and orange. More prominent on the taste buds with canned fruits, orange and wheat. Dry hopped fruity ending, bittersweet. Refreshing taste and quite alright on a Friday eve. (Tromsø 12.03.2021).

Can 440ml @ home
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grapefruit, pine, pineapple and mango. Taste medium sweet and medium bitter with a long bitter, grapefruit, pineapple and pine finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. It pours a completely unclear orange colored body with a finger thick white head. Piney, grapefruit aroma with a tropical touch. It's full bodied, lightly warming, quite smooth and with a bit harsh bitterness. The flavor too has pine cones and grapefruit dominating, some grass and bread in the far back. Lasting piney, grassy finish. Quite nice, but a bit ordinary. 201223

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.3%. Cloudy yellow colour, small white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus, tropical fruits and spruce. Equally pleasant flavour with the same elements, some sweetness but not too much, moderately bitter finish.

Can. Medium haze on this yellowish gold beer, patchy white bubbles never come close to passing themselves off as a proper head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a good minerally crisp bite. Light malts, a very light creamy sweetness. Crisp piney hops with a bright and not-too-bitter grapefruit, a little sweeter pomelo in there, which gives it a nice distinct character. Lesser bright generic citrus underneath. Crisp bright piney citric finish. Refreshing and easy drinking. Frau Gruber DIPAs are a mixed bag, but cans like this make it worth persisting.

Can, 8.3%. Hazy yellow with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, fruit peel and tropical fruit. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, sweet, tropical fruit, little grapefruit, pineapple and a little bitter.

Can at home. Ugly fucking horse cum appearance. Aroma is hoppy, citrusy, tangerine. Flavor is similar. It's fine you know, but I am really fed up with these NEIPA's. Please bring back the resinous hoppy IPA.
