29 November 2019. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to the lovely Anke, tderoeck, 77ships & Ghent beer crew! Hazy dark brown, very thin, tan head. Aroma of ice cream, vanilla, chocolate sprinkles, coffee, caramel, dried banana. Taste has sweet banana, cherries, apricot, somewhat estery actually, with cake & caramelly maltiness. Herbal Ice Tea-like effect with some vanilla. Dryish, woody, herbal hoppy finish, more caramel, toasted coconut, tonka. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Not enough of that solid 'stoutness' & tonka profile, too bad.

Aroma: lots of maraschino cherries, bit soapy, oxidized, sugary, caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very fruity, all cherry flavoured candy, bit sugary, more sweet cherries. Aftertaste: sugary, maraschino cherries, more sweet cherries, not bad, but not great either.
