ABV: 8.0%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, caramelized malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, bread, caramelized malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210427]

Draught @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours nearly clear copper jrown with stable beige head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast and caramel malt. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and yeast, with nutty and hoppy notes and touches of fruit. Bitter and malty aftertaste with estery and caramellish touches. A nice DB.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a rich and lacing beige head. Lovely Doppelbock nose plenty of toffee and rye bread. Rich, malty body, toffee, caramel, molasses, bread and biscuits with sufficient bittering hops to level things out. Hust a good, clean and superbly crafted Doppelbock. 101220

Tap at BGB. Clear cola body, bubbly off white head. Fruity aroma, some unripe berry and caramel, not quite there. THe taste is far better though. Nice sweetish, full, clean caramelly and nutty body, clean, tasty, winterish. Well done!

Can. It's a reddish brown beer with a nice beige head. Caramel, bread, prunes, roasted malt notes, and a touch of burnt malts in the aroma. It's full bodied, semi-sweet and nicely carbonated, with flavors of bread and caramel. Some dark dried fruits and a faint touch of alcohol. Long malt driven finish. A nice Christmas beer. 200727
