Fles gedeelt met Inoven en Joep na Gerstenat. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een rode gloed. Het heeft een houtige licht whisky achtige geur. De smaak is zacht, zoet, whisky achtig met alcohol achtige nasmaak.

Bottle @ Ratebeer Odense Spring Sipper, 2019. Deep amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of dried fruit, vanilla, bubblegum and a touch of oak. Sweet fruity and malty flavour with nice oaky overtones.

375 ml bottle, shared by Werckmeister, thanks! Brownish body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, cocoa, toffee, moderate whisky, some wood. Tastes similar, while a bit boozier. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes warm, astringent, quite dry, wooden, moderate sweet, with toffee, dried fruits, some leather. Very nice. Quite boozy, especially the taste, while the nose is really lovely, rich and fruity. Not outstanding for me, but an interesting sipper. Score: 8 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15

BB 2023. dark brown color, medium big off white head. smells of ripe fruits, marzipan, nutty, light molasses, dried fruits, peppery. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of ripe fruits, peppery, spices, raisins, some caramel, light wood, bit boozy, peppery. finishes bit boozy and lightly sweet with notes of dried fruits, raisins and peppery notes. quite decent one, but also not totally my thing, bit on the heavy side, might be more round with a bit more age
