Bottle at a tasting. Quite high carbonation, med-full body. Vanilla, whisky, molasses, caramel. Lots of warmth, alcohol. Very good.

Bottle a tap “Chimay” tasting. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of malt, alcohol, candies. Taste, dark malt, molasses, raisins, alcohol. Dry finish. Nice.

Bottle (2018) shared by Cuso, many thanks. Malty aroma and taste, caramel, spicy notes, light cocoa notes, light sweet, medium bitter. Full body, malty caramel spicy bitter sweet finish. Good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Deep amber-brown. Aroma of apple (actetaldehyde), wood, a bit of vanilla, a bit of coconut, fruitiness, caramel, sweet, some alcohol.

Bouteille 75cl, bottled 02/2018. Achetée dans le gift pack de 3 bouteilles.
Cuivrée/ambrée, col fin blanc-cassé.
Arôme au nez fin malté, caramel, touche de pâle, fruits noirs et rouges, barrique et fine douceur de whisky en rétro.
Palais est bien mesuré et balancé, même si les collègues l'ont trouvée un peu trop douce.
Caramel, touche crystal - candy, fruits noirs, le tout collant aux lèvres, boisé plaisant sur la fin sans être trop dominant, le whisky est là plus en retrait

375ml bottle. Beer Mania, Brussels. Mostly clear, deep chestnut brown. Thin, dense, pale beige head. Nose has ginger biscuits. Ripened stone fruit. Caramel. Whisky dregs. Taste is moderately sweet, with a spicy, vinous, slightly tangy bitterness. Medium body. Easy drinking. Foamy carbonation. Lingering spicy finish.

Corked bottle. Deep dark brown color. Licorice, laurel, oak and soft herbal notes in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, herbal with oak, vanilla and whisky. Just a bit overcarbonated maybe. But a fine beer.

Gedronken met Joep en Tomhendriksen. Donkerbruin helder bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Aroma van hout en whisky. Smaak is eerst wat plat en daarna komt de whiskysmaak naar boven. Nasmaak is zoetig maar trekt redelijk snel weg..
