300+ ml. draft @ Kaapse Maria. Black, solid mocha head. Nose has nice amount of hop, some blue cheese, dash of soap, black bready malt, some BIPA feel, nice. Taste is way less hop, nice roast, mocha, low BIPA feel still no cheese in taste but pleasant interesting with lots of dark bread. Dark bread body but not super thick.

Thanks jinroh for sharing the beer! Poured into a snifter showing a finger of slightly tanned foam and moderately filtered deep brown. The nose shows moderately intense notes of baked bread with light notes of sweet malt. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied but not necessarily porter-like. Mildly sweet with moderately intense notes of baked bread notes throughout and lager like malts with more bread on the finish.

Tap at SKAAL, Baird Brewing tap-takeover. Pours light brown, not too carbonated. Sourish nose with some rye spices, bit tart as that might be expected from the rye bread additiom. Spicy rye notes are also there. In taste, roast rye bread flavour as well. Smooth and drinkable, still bringing out the bread character quite clearly. Light sour tartness in taste, basically feels like "imperial kvass". Finishes dry and its roast rye character comes out even better. Some caramel too. Drinks easy and has some depth regardless of it.
