Canned, 440 ml at Miro's Grande Tasting 2020. Black with beige head. Lots of coffee, roasted, chocolate, moderate sweetness, nice bitter finish. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied.

ABV: 9.5%. Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, cocoa, licorice, oat, wheat, coconut, light to moderate chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, oat, roasted, coffee, chocolate, cocoa. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200325]

Can split at L6, thanks to Dave, 16/01/20. Black with a handsome tan cap. Nose is roast malts, chocolate, spice, toffee, hint of coconut. Taste comprises dried fruits, cocoa powder, roast malts, spice, charr, toffee, brown sugar melt, coffee bean. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Decent enough impy stout.

Can shared at the Columbus tasting 16/01/2020. Many thanks A dark black brown coloured pour with a lasting loose mid tan head. Aroma si woody coffee, green pepper, plastic, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody coffee, green pepper, green coffee, bean ,ashy roast, spicy roast. Palate is semi sweet,light tan, oily, boozy, moderate carbonation. Bold stuff.

Can shared in London - big thanks to Dave. Pours deep brown with a creamy beige head. Tasty gear, brown bread, coffee, cocoa, caramel. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more cocoa, soft roast, toasted caramel. Not bad.

Level 6 Bottle share. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, some creamy dark chocolate cream. Rich but reasonably smooth coffee. Smooth finish. Very coffee.

Can from Cotteridge Wines and shared with the KL Tasting Crew. Poured a clear dark brown, almost black colour. The aroma is roasty malt, light liqourice, some chocolate, rich coconut. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, sugary, oily, rich, roasty, slightly boozy palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours black, smell is roasted, coffee, intense, dry. Taste is sharp, roasted coffee, burnt and ashy. Rather dry, medium body and carbo.
