500mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of herbal and vegetal notes, feet, and bready malt. Flavour is very malty, with lots of Britsh malt, bready notes and some vegetal character. Nothing overly offensive here, but it's dull and cheap.

Bottle at the restaurant of the Acorn Lodge near Gatwick Airport. Pours clear golden with a small lasting white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, hop, fruit and light veg. Medium tangy sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet and fruity finish.

From old tasting notes. Bright brassy gold color. Rocky beige head. Soft malty nose. Crisp bittersweet malt flavor. Nice spicy hop finish. Good balance and flavor.

Deep golden to light amber colour. Clear. Two finger tall off-white head. Good retention. Biscuit malts, fruity yeast and grassy hops and minor butterscotch on nose. Light to medium body. Tastes of sweet malts on front. The mid taste is just a bridge to a dry, fairly bitter earthy hoppy finish. Straight-forward but OK.

2016 catch up - Bottles at home - I enjoyed the first bottle, but then really wasn’t keen on the others. There was fruit and a hit of alcohol, but it really didn’t have much going for it. There was definite pear to the flavour, which was about the only interesting thing about it.

Dorada limpia, un dedo de espuma blanca. Fuerte aroma a malta y cereal. En boca es lo que anunciaba en el aroma, dulzona, muy cereal. Poco cuerpo, algo metálica. Solo pasa muy fría. Puff

On tap at brewery tap. Aroma is subdued, with maybe some bitter fruits. Flavour is big though, it’s a little bitter from the hops but then there’s sweet pear and even a little white chocolate in there. Beautiful.
