Bottle 50cl. from Kelly's Expat Shopping @home poured into a pint glass. Clear deep golden colour, good moussy white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma pale malt, grain, biscuit, light citrusy hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, biscuit, some pear, whif of lemon. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, mild sweetbitter aftertaste, malty backbone, a little bit more bitterness in the finish, light spicy notes, nice.

Bottle, Raj Japur restaurant New Haw. Aroma of curry. Pale amber gold. Thick foamy head. Malty bitterness. Thin. Watery. Fizzy. Abrupt finish. OK at best. Inoffensive. Decent ABV.

500ml bottle. Clear golden orange colour with a small but creamy, smooth white head. Aroma is not very strong, some light malt, maybe some fruits. Flavour is also a little weak, just some light malts, fruity notes in the aftertaste, almost a little metallic though. Light bitterness. Watery feel. Bit boring really. Not one of Badger’s best.

Pours amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is malty and floral. Med body. Flavor is florally malty. Suggests that toffee was once near by. It finishes warmly tasty and moderately bitter.

The bottled version does not hold a candle to the cask beer that I often have in one of my local pubs. Looks good, light amber with a good creamy head. No real aroma, malt and hops with a slight floral smell. The taste and mouthfeel appear weaker than the cask beer, but still has a kick to it. Although I first came across it at the Falklands Folk Club back in 1985 where it was available in cans somehow.
