Appearance- clear golden with an amber tinge. A small white fizzy head. Aroma- sweet malt, honey tinges, grassy hop hints. Taste- bitter hops, caramel malt, clingy bitter finish. Ok, slightly industrial.

500ml bottle. Clear golden orange colour with a small but creamy, smooth white head. Aroma is not very strong, some light malt, maybe some fruits. Flavour is also a little weak, just some light malts, fruity notes in the aftertaste, almost a little metallic though. Light bitterness. Watery feel. Bit boring really. Not one of Badger’s best.

500ml bottle from JSG Wine Merchants, Hills Road, Cambridge. Blondish orange, very clear with a large and slightly rocky white head. Metallic smell, a bit of citrus and rosehip. Bittersweet taste with bitter hop to the fore. A big hit of sulphur in the finish. Typical supermarket bitter. Not much to write home about.

500ml bottle. Light, clear copper colour with a gun white head. No strong aroma, no strong flavours, pretty bland to be honest but not unpleasant

Aroma of weak cardboard. Has minimal head and a brown-orange body. Flavour is nice sweet malts with a bready finish. Palate is way too weak and watery. It’s drinkable but not exciting. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tanglefoot (Bottle/Can) on 26 Oct 2019 at 07:16 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 2 | Flavor - 3 | Texture - 2 | Overall - 3. Original review text: Yes, can. Unlike the cask that I tried 4 years ago which I remember extremely well. (Actually I have no idea). This pours with a bleach white foam and medium gold body, with nothing but rotting grain on the nose. The flavour is soft Hallowe'en candies, those chewy caramel types, and a fair bit of tin thrown in. Cloying sugariness. Wow, just.... I can't even, as the reddit incel moderators say. Just a pile of caramelly junk.
