Our best selling beer – we can never have this out of stock! The classic traditional British Bitter. The perfect balance between malt hops. Deceptively tasty for the ABV.

Bottle from Rollings Wine Company, Harpenden. Copper-gold with no head. It's mildly fruity in both aroma and taste, but with a bitterness to finish that also points to this being a bitter in style, albeit with a low bitterness.

Cask from the wood, halfpint, at the SPBW 1st National Woodfest, Castleford. Not in the festival programme. Deep golden colour, white head. Moderate aroma, some citrus. The medium dry flavour has a nice citrussy and zesty tang to it, on a background of "dusty" malts.
