Fra flaske på Mi2 Cardinal, des-16: kklar korngylden med ok hvitt skum. Lys malt, urter, gress og visne sitroner i aroma og smak, et ordentlig uforfriskningsøl. Men jeg var visst den eneste som ikke likte dette.

From bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 05.12.16. Very clear, very pale golden. Small white head. Aroma of sweet pale malt, grass and sugar. Quite refreshing, with grass and pilsner malt and a hint of lemon. Refreshing, with good aftertaste.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.9%, 22 IBU. Fairly clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Fruity and floral aroma. The flavour is more herbal than fruity, has a slight sweetness and yeastiness first, and ends rather dry with a more pronounced bitterness than expected from 22 IBU. Well, when I buy a Kölsch I normally have no other expectations than being refreshed, and this one does the trick.

Shared bottle at Cardinal. Pours clear golden with little white head. Aroma of hay and some floral notes, light bread, unfermented wort. Taste sweet with balancing bitterness and a little sourness. Thin bodied, bitter, astringent finish.

Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt grassy hop. The flavour is light to moderate bitter with a soft creamy yeast light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.
