19/XI/19 - 50cl bottle @ HoReCa-Expo Gent, BB: 10/IV/24 - (2019-1866) Thanks to the brewers and the Ghent Beer Posse for sharing today’s beers!

Clear pale yellow beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: cactus, sourish, pears I guess? MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty acidic, lemony, soft bitterness, little dry, nice acidity, cactus flavours. Aftertaste: acidic, bit metallic, lemon juice, soft bitterness, pretty dry, bit funky. Not bad at all!

On tap at Opatovina Beer Fest Zagreb. Unclear yellow coloured, small to medium sized white head, acidic pear in the nose. Sourish taste with light notes of pear and yeast. Light touch of wood in the finish. Nothing interesting here.

Tap at Craft Room. Hazy yellow body, white head. Tart aroma, lacto, burnt slightly, barrel underneath. Sweetish pear touches, something a bit rotten underneath, yeasty, nicely juicy and tart. The mouthfeel and the appearance are great but the taste... not my cup of barrel aged fruited sour.

Bottle at Unorthodox. Has an assertive perry presence, actually characterful even fruit-wise. Combined with moderate wild barnyard character, this delivers a very fresh and easy drinking experience. Very good.

Tap @ Brewdog Tallinn. Pours cloudy orange, some white bubbles, not much foam. Tart nose, funky barnyard, fruity sweetness, pear if you say so. Tastes tart, quit acidic but still drinkable. Fruity pear is there at first but becomes more acidic in the aftertaste. Quenches my thirst well and goes down faster than it should. Tasty.
