Amber beer matured in oak bourbon barrels for 9 months. Scent vanilla, alcohol, spicy. Taste caramel, bourbon, vanilla, a hint of almond. Aftertaste: alcoholic, tones of wood, smoothly bitter.

Bottle shared by Jim thanks for the opportunity.
Pours a deep copper color with ruby edges and a tall off white head that persists. Spicy earthy dried fruits vanilla light oak and light alcohol. Bubbly mouthfeel. Very nice brew.

Armsby draught, 3/29/26.
Candied fruits, caramelized sugars and light wood with a bit of whiskey spice. Maybe a touch of alcohol. Bit of butterscotch (not diacetyl, but more barrel character). I will admit, there's not as much glue and other crude phenolics as expected, but maybe it's still too cold. Am trying to warm it and let it breathe. Not really getting much more than the aforementioned sweet notes, minor whiskey and some vanilla.
Sweet and appley with peppery carbonation and a strange, husky wood and whiskey character. Some bare caramel just sitting there bluntly. Really rough and unrefined stuff not to mention there aren't any elegant or sumptuous flavors. Too thin and yet somehow too sweet and husky at the same time. Sharp whiskey, more weird apple, ending thin and watery.
Quite a disaster, not that I expected anything less from this shitty brewery.

Pours deep brownish red with a mid-sized head. Aroma is wet paint, nuts, toffee and Bourbon. Flavour is sweet and sticky and has notes of toffee, syrup, brown sugar, Bourbon and oak casks. The alcohol brings some warmth to the finish.

On tap at Craft Bier Bar Hamburg. Pours murky brown with a beige head. Cheap bourbon, bread, dried berries on the nose. Flavour has tons of cheap whiskey, dried berries. I expected more, for some reason; this is barely drinkable.

On tap at Hops, Crewe. Pours a dark burgundy with minimal off-white head. There’s a delightful aroma of alcohol, wooden barrels, dired fruit and figs. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with a chewy texture. The alcoholic strength is immediately obvious in the flavour which also contains raisins, orange peel and dates, with hints of cherries and blackcurrants coming through later leading to a decidedly boozy finish. This is excellent !
