Small if resistant cream head over reddish, almost black beer. Alcohol, fusels, sweetish, molasses, Bourbon, vanilla. Sweet, vanilla, ice cream flavours, molasses, alcohol & fusels; nuts in caramel, brown sugared nutbread. Chewy, very smooth despite the fiery alcoholheat. Definitely, the darker Delirium products carry my preference.
Bourbon, woody, caramel, vanilla

Aromas are typical Belgian dark ale. Toffee, dark malt, yeast, spice. Flavors are similar to nose, add in some oak, great balance between sweet, bitter and carbonation. Lingering sweetness. Good but not great. Don't see how it would benefit from cellaring.

Tap at Drunk Uncle. Wow. Nocturnum and Noel mix is already great. the barrel tone is rather huge and boozy. A slow sipper, pretty enjoyable.

750ml bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours clear deep brown with a thick, fluffy beige head. The aroma is nutty, woody, bitter - sweet, bourbon soaked oak, vanilla fudge, coffee cake, malt loaf, brown bread and cocoa powder. The taste is initially dry, bitter - sweet, coffee grounds, cacao nibs, brown bread, raisin, sultana, malt loaf, boozey warmth, plum, prune, tannin, touch of spice and peppery spice with a drying finish. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation.
