Orchard Street Northeast IPA was created to exemplify the term "juicy" when applied to beer, and to pay homage to the agricultural wonderland we are surrounded by in Northern California. An all Pilsner malt and oat grist-bill paves a smooth road for the boatload of Amarillo hops we add in; giving it big notes of ruby red grapefruit, pink starburst, watermelon rind, and a tidal wave of freshly juiced peaches. The Vermont Ale Yeast it is fermented with stacks on even more fruity and juicy hop esters, provides a slightly chewy body, and aids in turning this hop bomb into an absolute juice bomb. Orchard Street Northeast IPA is as versatile as it is delicious; perfect for any night at the pub or as part of your balanced breakfast.

Fantastic hazy brew picked up in a crowler at Fieldwork during my recent trip. The winner of my sampler set contest on which lucky beer gets to come home with me, and now enjoyed with the Nacho Truck back in the Seattle sun. Perfect setting for this delicious brew. Hazy pale yellow, thick cream foam head. Citrus headlines aroma, a grainy afterthought. Smooth, juicy IPA. Citrus, and juicy fruit, with a nice amount of balancing bitterness. Creamy, smooth, and just about everything I love about the style. Excellent.

Can, by way of a trade. Pale, orange gold. Very hazy. Thin, dense, sticky, lasting, bright white head. Handsome beer. Nose has sugar loaded pink grapefruit. Orange Opal Fruit sweets. Some tinned strawberry. A little minty and resinous. Smells great. Taste is light, grapefruit pith bitter. A little dry. Clean, and zesty, overall. Light to medium body. Lots of hop oil. Well pitched, fine and crisp carbonation. More of the oily, grapefruit bitterness to finish. Really good, clean and easy drinking IPA.

Can. Pours cloudy golden orange, medium white head, dissipates leaving decent lacing. Aroma is not huge, but pleasant with melons, guava, mango, pot, stonefruit, grapefruit. Flavor follows, light plus sweet and light bitter, juicy with a touch of dankness. Medium body and creamy mouthfeel. When I first cracked the can I was not impressed with the first whiff, but with a bit of breathing this opens up nicely and is a juice bomb as I like them.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is fairly fruity with some light cracker malt notes. Lots of citrus, tropical fruit and lighter stone fruit notes. Mango, pineapple, orange and peach. Light resinous notes. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a small thick, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers on the edges. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with a medium light cracker malt notes. Medium bitterness with a lot of fruity hop flavors. Lots of tangerine, pineapple mango and lighter peach. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice IPA. It’s not as fruity as some of the haze bombs, but it’s pretty close and looks a lot better. Nice background malt notes and sweetness.
