Bottled@TCBW2018. Murky brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is wood, some toffee, mild herbs and some caramel to it. Flavour is caramel, some floral and mild wooden tones. Also some sourness lurking in it, so maybe infected in a way or other?

Sampled bottled @ TCBW 2018. Dark hazy brownish amber, little head. Nose is oxidized dead wine & leaves indeed. Basically 100 % oxidized wine, beer character is lost, leaves, dried grapes, skins, leaves, little carbonation, oxidized. Not bad but all oxidized wine vs beer.

Bottle at TCBW 2018. Pours brown. Aroma is caramel, sourness, malt, wood, some booze. Flavor follows the nose. Feels somewhat off. Overall: drinkable. I love aventinus, so expectations were high. Bottle at TCBW 2018. Clear brown color. Cocoa and caramel aroma. Taste is rich malty caramel.
