Imperial Stout Red Wine BA 9.5%
What do you get when you cross dark beer with red wine? You will get something like this – a beer that has the distinct characteristics of both. There’s a definite red wine taste, smell and dryness with the tannins but there are also notes of coffee and chocolate with some residual sweetness.

Best before 2022, bottle coming from the sterk, a couple of years ago. A perfect option during this rainy afternoon, easy imperial stout to drink, really smooth, weak carbonation, syrupy, chocolate vanilla, woody and touch of red wine due to the barrel, 07.05.24

Op tap bij LiB'20. Zwart, bruine kraag. Aroma van hout, rode wijn, iets zurig, geroosterde mout, chocolade. Smaak is hout, houtmolm, rode wijn, iets van slurrie maar niet heel storend, eik, vanille, donkere chocolade, drop, complex spul. Volle body. Lekker.

Taster on tap Uba ja Humal, Tallinn. Dark, dark brown, close to black, with a beige head. Vinous and roasty aroma with notes of berries and wood. Sweet, warming and quite enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hannibal Red Wine BA on 24 Nov 2019 at 16:17 - Score: 7

Sampled draft @ TCBW 2018. Black, too much foam, mocha foam. Nose is touch thin, plastic, mocha. Chocolate grainy, mocha, creamy mocha chocolate, low plastic, quite tasty, could be bit thicker but good all the same. Got zero Red Wine though.

Tap at TCBW. Opaque colour, good brownish head. Light toasted aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted, mellow flavour. Not much of red wine here, probably not been long there. Hides abv well. Good.
