0,75l bottle at the brewery. Brewed December 19th 2017, Bottled June 3rd 2021. Label accidentially states 2016 Vintage. Yellow hazy color, small white head. Smells super barrel forward, oak, spices, peppery, cheesy, lovely lovely smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes funky, oak, citric, grassy, peppery, herbal, earthy. Finishes dry and light to medium bitter with notes of grass, peppery and oaky notes . Lovely, like the previous batches

Bottle. A sixth of a BXL pack a couple of years ago. Been staring at this for a while. And then Martin ends up on a ventilator. Holy shit, life really is too short. This beer is fantastic. Can’t be arsed. It’s a world class beer. Hope my pal pulls through.

2016 silt, 2019/2020 kork. Üllatavalt magus, hapu, puidune, kuiv, cantilloni funk, viinamarjane veinisus, hape on samuti päris tuntav. Lõpp on mõnusalt kuiv ja hapu. Hea, aga eelmine aasta meeldis rohkem.

Clear amber pour with a thin white head that dissipates quite quicky, and visible carbonation. Notes of old cheese, grape vinegar, grains, caramel, sweaty hops, sharp oak, the characteristic mellow Cantillon funk, some sherry smoothness in the finish. OK for an old lambic, I guess.

Thanks Shu for sharing the 2015 bottle! Taster showing dark gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows intense tart brett and dried apricot. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Highly tart and acidic with strong brett and barnyard. Dry tastiness on the finish with more citric acidity.

Bouteille 75cl, de et partagée avec Vincent. Merci.

Dommage.
