Dark with a tan head. Aroma was molasses malt, light cocoa, grain, and some dark fruit. Medium thin body. Flavor was OK. Grains, sweet malts, spicy, and light fruits. Was decent.

Bottle. Orange/Amber color. Goes down very smooth...lighter than the bocks I’m used to drinking...good beer

bottle - Pours clear golden with a one finger, lingering head. The aroma is malts and some light citrus and yeast notes. The flavor is quite sweet as one would expect from a bock. I’m tasting a touch of alcohol. It’s a little watery and the hops show up just a bit in the finish. Not bad at all, but there are better bocks to be had. edit: oops, that was rating #900 and I wasn’t even paying attention.

Clear, copper colour. Clean, slightly tosaty maltiness. Full body. Breadcrusty malts, light alcohol signature. Balanced, clean, a little bit refreshing. Seems to hit all the notes right down the middle.

Bottle from cbkschubert; Nose is bready grain with some citrus hops; light amber with a small yellowish head; medium body with the flavor of light caramel, citrus hops, and a lightly bitter and alcohol finish. Would be good on a hot day!

Orangey copper color, not much head. Aroma springs to life with liquid bread, plenty of melanoidiny goodness: toffee candy, rye-breadesque spiciness, and a spicy and floral hop. Flavor seems less melanoidiny than the aroma, there’s a juiciness that smacks of vienna malt, but no big caramel-toffees. Soft almost chewy mouthfeel, but not creamy - it has a mild astringency that stings a little on the sides of the tongue. Nevertheless, on the whole its pretty smooth, sweet and malt focused. There’s a trace of floral hop near the finish, and a definite clean finishing bitterness. Well constructed bock, though not adventurous nor complex, not that it really needs to be. Sort of a beer that one might choose to drink in some quantity - its strength makes it a bit large for a session, but it is an easy and sensuous way to get smopped, should that be your goal!

12 oz brown bottle that says ’anti-spring’ on it. Pours a little darker than your typical pale yellow american beer. This is not cloudy but there are little dust particles floating in the otherwise transparent brew. Has an almost perfumy aroma. Not a whole lotta bubbles in there. Crisp and malty on the outset of flavor. Tastes like an IPA with out the sever biting bitterness if that is possible. Carbonation is below average but not quite flat. Finish consummates with a loitering tenuous anti-mellow linger. Not as good as Nova Paka.

Slightly hazy amber body with a small creamy tan head. Sweet malty aroma. Malty flavor with a caramel edge and some mild bittering.

Bottle. Sour malt aroma - very lager-like. Clear orange-yellow color with small head. Sour malt primarily with moderate hops and astringency. Like a mixture of a bad pale lager and a mediocre bock.

Pured gold color, crystal clear and tiny white head. Aroma of grainy wheat or pale like malts and a little skunky yeast. Nice Bock flavor. It goes from yeasty/tangy to yeasty/fruity-sweet to some hop bite then to smooth yet grainy malts. Not bad at all.
