Sample from a bottle. My first time trying a brut IPA. Pours clear blonde ( wait. Can IPA's still be clear in 2018!? Shocker!) smell is hoppy, but more to the spice side than what I'm used to in other style IPA's. Taste is indeed dry, and reminds me more of phenols /Belgian style IPA, than the dry but fruitforward beer I was expecting. Is it the beer, or the style? Only time will tell.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, long lasting frothy white head. Aroma: Hoppy, citrus. Taste: Floral hop, refreshing and dry-ish mouthfeel (brut), citrus and yeast notes.Strangely I also taste some light cheesy hints. Medium body, just above average carbonation. Medium bitterness, light sweet and very slightly sour. My first brut IPA. Seems to be the new hyped IPA style. Seems like an IPA with some Saison caracteristics, in which case personally I prefer Saisons, although I also think I prefer this brut IPA above the 'normal' IPA and NEIPA's.

330mml. bottle. Tasted on the 09/09/2018 at Ponteareas. Light yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma is brut, dried citric fruits and yeast. Taste is dried fruits, wild yeast, brut, wood and funk. Medium carbonation. Light acidic and dry finish. Next one please!

Thanks! Bottle sampled @ Beerlovers Bar. Orange hazy, creamy white. Yoghurt yeast, spoiled fruit nose. Taste is massive mellow, milky, strange, bit dull, honeydew melon is nice. Milky body. I think that this may not be fully true to style but I still have almost zero experience with Brut IPA.
