Cask @ Cromwell's Tap House. Pours a generally clear gold, white head. Aroma of gentle tropical fruit, melon perhaps. Good Styrian Wolf expressions to taste, sweet leafy pine, fleeting tropical gummy notes, brisk bitter close. Nice.

Friday 16th February 2024, Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury; Cask Beer Festival. Hand-pulled half-pint. Clean golden body, white crown. Didn't take to this really, strange aroma and taste, most likely the lemongrass element. Nothing wrong with it, just not my thing.

On cask at Thomson's Bar. Appearance - golden with a light haze. Proportionate head. Nose - lemon and grassy notes. Taste - more of the same. And add some citrus pith. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture. Dry, bitter finish. Overall - a solid example of the style.

Cask at the mermaid St Albans. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is pear little eggy, soft bready grains, straw. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earthy pale grains, lemon rind egg, spicy citrus, lime.. Palate is semi sweet, easy going, decent cask condition. Good.

Chelmsfaaarhd Winter Beer Fest. Cask in KEGS. Bright clear paleish gold beer, a few white bubbles. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Clean sweetish malts. Good floral tangerine and grapefruit, slightly sweet. Mild marmalade and a pleasant touch of elderflower. Nice. Like these Wolf hops.

Cask @ Chelmsford Beer Festival. Nice head with good suration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, earthy hops, malt and has a nice bitter finish.
