Our Side Project Collaboration is called Leaner. A leaner is when a peach is so juicy you have to lean forward or it spills on you. 100% Oak Fermented Saison fermented with both Casey and Side Project’s cultures. Aged with over 3 pounds per gallon Flamecrest Colorado Peaches. The Saison we both brewed was a higher gravity version of our house Saison recipe. So this beer is basically a higher gravity version of Casey Family Preserves but with Side Project’s cultures. Noticeably more acidic. A great showing of both our cultures.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Padraig. Hazy yellow gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Very dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts. Harsh and acidic apricot and lemon. Dry bitterish finish. Yeesh. Even a few sips are hard to get down. Who drinks this stuff?

Many thanks! Large bottle sampled. Orange hazy, small white head. Nose is massively big on peach, juice & hugely lacto sour. Pure lacto so much lacto sour with peach juice, strone fruit, some acidity in the back lemon, interesting & tasty pure lacto profile.

No head, but big bubbles in pale golden beer. Peach, velouté, light fruitacids in the nose. Sour, lemony, very little peach left. Acidburn, acidthinning, light body. To acid by half, making it really difficultly drinkable.

Thanks for sharing the bottle, Mike! 10/13/17 version. Pours a hazy, dull yellow color, with a small, bubbly, white head. The aroma is lemon zest, peach juice, dry leather, and white sugar. Sweet and fruity, and just a little tart and funky. Light to medium body, with a sharp, acidic mouthfeel. Fun, and peach-forward, without just being peach juice.

Nose is pissy citric rinds, tarte peach, acidic notes, funk, grains, hay bale. Taste comprises tarte fruit shreds, on the turn peach, apricot funk, pissy green berry, wood must.
