Can at the flat in Sofia - sourced from 100 Beers online. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Medium sweet flavour with nice pine needle bitterness, semi-ripe tangerine, orange, some bready pale malts, grass. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sturdy piney-grassy bitterness to finish, some citrus rind, more juicy tangerine, lemon, grapefruit. Good stuff, nice drinking beer.

Healthy notes of grapefruit, lemon pith, and pine, backed up by mild passion fruit and pineapple, with a toasted grain undertone and moderate pine bitterness on the finish. Lands closer to a traditional old-school West Coast IPA than a tropical pale ale, but not bad.

Pint at the brewery. Pours a clear, golden color, with a big, bubbly, off-white head. The nose is pineapple, sawdust, bread dough, and orange peel. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Light to medium body, with a crisp, dusty palate. This is a reasonable pale ale, but lackluster.

Got in a trade with beergoot. 12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 3/6/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of mandarin orange, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, biscuit dough, toast, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big mandarin orange, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, biscuit dough, toast, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, biscuit dough, toast, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a delicious American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome Mandarina, Citra, Mosaic, Azacca profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean bready Vienna malt backbone for the ABV. Mild residual sweetness with crisp resin drying. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.
