Can sourced from Beergium (shared at home 21/02/2020) - hazed up yellow pour with a white head. Overt sweet fruity with notes of tropical citrus fruit, sweet malty backing, medium body, hoppy Backing, but just too cloying sweet for me.

Odd, offering up a curious mix of herbal, vegetal, and tropical notes, none of which seeming to coexist peacefully with each other. Leafy, woody undertones are topped by chive and pepper, yet lead to a peach-berry-bubblegum back end with a lingering cilantro-esque fade. Not bad, but muddled, a myriad of flavors that turn out soapy and discordant.

Can. Pretty hazy gold beer, good size bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, light and with decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, light creamy sweetness. Good hops, crisp and citric with a pinch of spice and a light piney vibe. Don’t think I’ve had Meridian hops before but there is a great lemony mandarin vibe here. Light finish leaves a faint citric peel linger. Light, tasty, hoppy and a little different.

Sampled from the tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a cloudy yellow with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has passionfruit and earthy mango with a touch of citrus and light sweet grains underlying. Flavor has earthy mango and passionfruit with some juicy citrus and light sweet grains backing.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, raspberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Incredible aromas with amazing complexity and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, raspberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight lingering resins/rinds through the glass. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an amazing NEDIPA! All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the big ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish; fantastically soft feel. Amazingly enormous Galaxy, Mosaic, Topaz, and Meridian profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering bitter dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing top tier style example. The 6 lbs per bbl of hops is very obvious!
