Brimming with citrus aromas from Galaxy and Citra hops, this moderately sweet and hazy IPA is devilishly juicy.

Can from a sizer picked up on sale at the grocery store - I must admit this is far better than I was anticipating - bursting with citrus and spicy hoppiness - soft carbonation and moderate sweetness to balance the citric acidity, which brings notes of lemon, orange, and lime - kinda glad I bought this.

(On tap) Cloudy golden amber with good white head. Lovely intense fruity aroma - grapefruit, orange, pine. Palate is really something - smooth and soft with plenty of body - almost like mango juice. Great taste too. It’s fruity - orange, mango - and slightly tart at the start. Some sweetness appears in the middle palate and then some very nice moderate hoppy bitterness joins the mix in the finish. Very drinkable, unusual and impressive.

12 ounce can from Valley Liquor Little Chute, 6/4/19. Hazy orange-yellow, creamy and foamy dense white head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, earth, dank. Maybe some grapefruit. Not quite the juicy citrus bomb promised by the marketing. Taste is lemon, tropical fruit, pine, pale malt. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness. Doesn’t seem like a NEIPA.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a large frothy off-white head. Aroma is citrus, pale stone, floral. Med body. Very juicy. Part way to dank. Fruitily undry. Lots of hop. Pretty bitter. Maybe there's some passion fruit - that peculiar bite. Very tasty ale. Highly recommended.

12 ounce can into signature globe glass, canned on 4/25/2019. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.7%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft feel, and not overly aggressive. Awesome Citra, Galaxy, Chinook profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balancing bready oat/Munich malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Crisp hazy deep copper and golden coloured body with a great three centimetre tall creamy tan head on top - very nice looking! Aroma of dank, tropical fruits, grass, a lot of resin and some noticeable alcohol. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Strong grassy and very perfumey hops up front with a lot of resin and a more traditional bittering hop profile with some grapefruit and lemon zest on the edges, but a light and juicy floral character throughout with some alcohol astringency on the finish. Aftertaste shows the plain bittering hops with a deep citrus and lemoney finish with a touch of cleanser and more funky malt and alcohol at the very end. Overall, a nice, very traditional IPA that doesn't get replicated much anymore (whether by mistake or on purpose), from the days of old, with a deep bittering flavour that is quite nice, for older hop-heads, at least! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 23-May-2019 for US$1,49 sampled at home in Washington, a few blocks away on 27-May-2019.

12 oz can from a six pack. Aroma is orange juice, passionfruit, coconut, pineapple. Pours hazy orange-golden with a one finger bone white head with decent retention, leaving cobwebby lace. Taste is highly bitter, only very slightly juicy (???). Good stuff, but not as described.

Can, best by August 25th 2019.
It pours a hazy dark yellow with aboot an inch of foam, lacing is front and present.
A very fruity forward hop nose. Grapefruit, maybe some orange zest.
Taste is like I expected. Grapefruit citrus, orange peel, pretty bitter for what it is meant to be? Hazy or New England style? Falls short in my book.
Mouthfeel is okay but I'm glad that I only bought a single. It's all that I want.
