This IPA features a pale malt bill, a generous dose of oats and a massive dry hop of Mosaic, Simcoe & Nelson Sauvin. Crisp body, moderate haze and big aroma. This aromatic and delicious beer is all about low bitterness and huge flavour, with notes of mandarin orange, white grape, and pine.
Note: The first custom labelled release of this beer incorporates a few recipe changes, including a switch to IPA from Pale Ale.

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy pale yellow color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of juicy hops notes of mandarin and citrus notes with some dry flora undertone notes. Taste is also a mix of mandarin notes with dry hoppy floral undertones and some citrusy notes with a dry floral finish. Body is quiet full with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA but was expecting more dominant juicy hops notes.

Green onion and some dust. Pours hazy orange with good head. Not a lot of fruit flavor in this -- too bad because I'm usually a big nelson fan. Just not a lot of fruity freshness in this other than a dash of mango. Body is thin. Green onion finish. Tap at Churchkey.

Got in a BIF from Coronaeus. 500 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, bottle code HH016. Pours very hazy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.3%. Overall this is an excellent hazy IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinosu/drying finish. Nicely soft, and not aggressive on bitterness. Great Mosaic, Simcoe, Nelson profile. Very vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hop complexity; with a great clean wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. A little more earthy than expected on the hops, but it delivered an enjoyable profile.

Bottle in garden, imported from Bellwoods, Toronto, 20th July 18. Pours a cloudy straw colour beer. Aroma is citrus, peach. Taste is typical Bellwoods, very dry, citrus, not juicy, limited bitterness. I expected more to be honest. It's drinkable, but I think Bellwoods excel at the sours over the IPAs.

(500ml bottle from the brewery c/o phyllomedusa) ~1mo at consumption. Totally hazy pale orange pour with a dense and well lasting hazy white head with thick lace. Aroma is strong and juicy, pops out of the glass with mango nectar, lychee, aromatic orange, light pineapple, leafy Nelson, light pine and some softly bready malt. On the tongue, much lighter and less concentrated juice, grapefruit and orange peels, leafy, light mango and grape juice, rather crackery, hint of yeast. Dry finish with low pine needle bitterness. Lighter body but slightly creamy carb. Nose is beautiful, just doesn’t deliver the goods on the palate.

A hazed murky blonde ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, beautiful sweet fruity malt with loads of orange pulp, light tropical fruits, citrusy floral hops, very nice. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with loads of resinous citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, orange and mandarine, beautiful. On tap at Brother’s Beer Bistro.
