From tap at Beerlovers, Antwerpen. Big Bourbon aroma with vanilla, caramel, dark malt, alcohol. Very boozy beer, but kind of impressive. Full body. Very boozy, big, a bit much. Lacks balance/smoothness.

Tap at the BeerTemple, Amsterdam, 18th November, 2021, had this straight after Jackie Os Abandon the Halogens, this was black, thick, heady, taste was bitter and dry, lots of oak and complexity, never overly sweet. Fantastic

33 cl can (14,6%) @ Monkish Jyri, canned 11.01.2021 Aroma has salty licorice, soy sauce. Flavour has strong salty licorice, herbal tones. A bit too stuffy and salty at the end. Hides the ABV well.

Pours black with a small tan head - not quite as dark as the double oak version. Aroma is dark malts, roasty, nutty, sweet, vanilla, chocolate, coffee. Big body. Flavour is malty, sweet, smooth and very rich. Light to medium bitterness, pine, chocolate, coffee, molasses, lots of caramel. Light bourbon, rich vanilla. Excellent. Love the double oak version as well, but this is also amazing.
