330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out tart dark fruits, brown sugar, and light balsamic. Flavour is more tart than I'd expect from a quad, with wood, tannins, tart dark red fruits, and some balsamic. Alcoholic, tart and fruity. An unusual quad - much tarter than the usual quad. Good stuff.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with full head. Aromas of metallic chocolate, creamy mocha, and roasted malts. Flavors of sweet and slightly smokey dark fruit, dark sugar, and caramel malts, all with a odd Belgian yeastiness. Hard to make out what this is. Interesting but would not grab another.

33cl bottle. Pours very dark brown with a small creamy tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, licorice, chocolate notes. Taste is roasted malt, dark fruits, chocolate notes, a bit of re wine. Finish is tart, and at the same time, roasty. It's sort of like a cross between a stout and a quad that lacks the yeast and spices of traditional quads. Good but not great.

Pours as a glass of foam ( nitro.. ) with beer slowly rising up. At the end, whats left is a medium sized, very creamy white head upon a dark unclear brown beer. Smell is chocolatty, sweaty ( like an old cheese ) tad bitter. taste is full, creamy, old cheese. Tad bitter, some chocolate malts. This beer is quite a mess overall. It's got a whole lot of tastes going on, but they're not blending into one another at all. Even has some tartness that did bother me. Perhaps it's just me, since other ratings seem way higher than mine ?

Tap at Moscow BCD’17. Muddy brown with lush ivory nitrogen head, which is I suppose the reason for these subdued aroma style features. Medium body. While tasting you at last can convince yourself, that you are having a Quad. Rich phenols and esters. Caramel malts, toffee. An average Quad at best.
