Rupture was born out of our obsession with getting the most out of each and every hop. In fact, we built a machine in our brewery to incorporate a unique fresh grind process. By grinding the whole hop we “rupture” the lupulin inside – releasing the oils that give the beer its flavor. And what we grind that day we use that day. Leaving you a beer that’s fresh, aromatic, with a bright hoppy character.

Pretty standard dank Bittersweet IPA. Aroma is rich funky hops with a little malt likewise is flavor with some malt that is just sweet enough to bounce out the Hops. So it's bittersweet and just enough Carbonic Tang to be just right flavor balance good body and finish. Nice drinking beer but nothing unusually great.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a nice grapefruit citrus pith. Flavor is again more of that fresh citrus with a little bitter bite on the tongue. This is not all over the place with different fruits coming off. This is a pretty much a spot on grapefruit citrusy bomb with no heavy malt to get in the way.

32oz crowler pours with a clear gold body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up an integrated blend of grapefruit, tangerine, mango and then a bit of spicy onion. The taste delivers smooth soft mango and cantaloupe to start and then getting into more punchy tangy tangerine and tangelo flavor hops. To midway a nice thin strawberry note joins in to help create another facet to this. Great overall flavor. Into the finish a modest level of spicy onion like bitter hoppiness creates a counter to all the juiciness going on here. I can, and will, drink a lot of this.

Can from Boise Co-op. Bright orange golden pour, small head fades. Light citrusy aroma, orange peel. Taste is the same, a bit more bitter oomph from the hops. Citrusy without being juicy.

Best by January 13th 2018 on the bottom of the can.
Very slight hazy pale gold pour, pretty long lasting foam.
pine resin, juicy hop oil aromas that scream freshness.
Pine and citrus taste with that incredible hop oil goodness that I just can't get enough of. Grapefruit and hints of tropical fruit I notice after my initial rant aboot the hop oils;)
Medium body with a fairly light level of carbonation.
Now getting some malty notes of light toasted bread. Wow, this could easily be a go-to as long as it's around.

12 oz can. Aroma is cat piss, grapefruit, peach. Lots of citrus here in the aroma. Pours slightly hazy golden with a one finger bone white head that falls after a minute. Taste is mildly bitter and dry with lost of citrusy hop flavor. Great beer.

Multiple cans at home. LeninCat went absolutely batshit crazy over this beer. Easily 5/5 for the world’s most famous feline beer rather. I was not as enthusiastic but it is a really solid beer. It’s reminiscent of Odell IPA with a fairly solid malt backbone but this comes with juicier hops. The flavour is a burst of orange juice, mango, and resin. Lots and lots of fruit. Bitterness is nicely held in check more than Odell IPA. Not elite but a nice addition by Odell. I’d recommend buying a six pack of cans of this assuming it shows up to your town fresh. Pretty cool can art as well.
