Bottle. A big fluffy white head forms over an almost clear golden colored body. Lots of lacing. The aroma is of the fruity kind, with a nice saison-ish yeastyness. Some pale malts. It's medium to full-bodied, nicely carbonated and dry, with a decent bitterness. Fruity flavor with a nice peppery hint, some grass and pine hnits. Lasting finish. Nice indeed, not sure if I prefer this one or the original. Nice indeed. 241123

Cerveza dorada, con tono ligeramente anaranjado, turbia, espuma blanca, abundante y duradera. Aroma maltoso, floral y especiado, con notas terrosas, heno y cítricos. En boca se mantiene el matiz floral y perfumado, primer trago algo dulce, afrutado y cítrico, con notas de cereal y levadura, final algo amargo y muy especiado. Una saison deliciosa, como no, aunque en la mente el recuerdo que tengo de la Saison Dupont normal la supera.

On tap at Muted Horn, Berlin. Shared with little Dina. Clear golden, small lasting off-white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy, herbal and floral, elderflower. Peppery and lightly plastic phenolics. Leaves, earth and malts underneath. Light to medium body, slightly creamy. Flavour is lightly estery, spicy, herbal and malty. Intense herbal bitterness. Very dry.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, nectary and some mild spicy tones with a bit lemongrass to it. Flavour is citrus, some spicy yeast and mild sweet malts to it. Really nice and refreshing.

Geprobeerd met LiekevdV, Inoven en fam op Brew@TheZoo. Het is een troebel geel kleurig bier met een wit schuim. Het heeft een aroma van mout, gist en hop. De smaak is moutig, grassig en hoppig in de afdronk.

On keg @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Not sure about the vintage, adding under the latest one here. Poured almost clear and golden in color. Light funky, peachy nose, tangerines. Floral, light funk, hay. Finishes fairly dry. Lovely.

Saison Dupont Cuvée Dry Hopping (Styrian Wolf), Fläschchen aus Tausch mit Jef - thanks a lot! - Trüber Bernstein, üppiges Schaumgebirge. - In der Nase die lang vermißten erdigen, köstlich kellerig-modrigen und scharf zitrusfruchtig-herben Aromen, die Dupont-Hefe, ein wenig Kandiszucker. - Im Antrunk dann milder als erwartet: die fast beißend scharfe Orangenschale mit kräftiger Bittere ... von feuchtem Laub fällt hier etwas gedämpfter aus, statt ihrer dominiert eine trockene, fein pampelmusige Herbe mit mediterranen Kräutern. Von den fruchtigen Aromen (tropische Früchte, Blaubeeren, Melone, Himbeere), die Styrian Wolf auszeichnen sollen, schmecke ich nur wenig, höchstens eine Spur Holunder. Im Nachtrunk fehlen mir die wuchtige Bittere und der Pfeffer des Originals. - Das Ergebnis ist dennoch überzeugend: ein Dupont mit etwas anderer Hopfung, dem Saison Dupont nicht ebenbürtig aber doch sehr probierenswert. Still in production in 2023. Hats dark yellow with stable head. Mixed bag on the nose: earthy notes, a bit floral, honey, fudge some lime. Toffee and some citrus in the .mouth. the dry hopping becomes obvious in the final aftertaste. Nice midrange fruitiness: sweet lime. Good carbonation. Interesting mix of flavours.

33cl bottle. Pours orange gold, fairly hazy, with fine white foam. Aroma is citrus and a little vegetal, though delicate. Body is average, with good carbonation. Taste is medium bitter, evident in particular in the final.

Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Hazy orange gold colour lasting cream head. Big hoppy aroma Lovely flavour good saison flavour. Yes gorgeous. I liked this very much. Excellent. Glad I got 2 bottles.
