Bottle 0,33ltr: Opaque black colored brew with an dry bitter taste, hints of roasted malt, chocolate and herbs and vanilla from the aquavit.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Dark brown colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some chocolat notes. Barrel just present. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Black with a very thin beige head. Chocolate and coffee aroma with a hint of what I would guess is the aquavit as it has some caraway character. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. Thinner bodied than the regular Dead Man's Hand Brewer's Edition.

13/3/2021. Bottle shared at the Ben Burrows memorial virtual bottle share. From Londis (Westholme Stores), Goring. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of nut, chocolate, roasted malt, aquavit, vanilla. Moderate sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Really good.

Bottle.Black colour with small beige head.Aroma of coffee and cocoa mild roasted and with hint of dark dried fruits,feels a bit to alcoholic and strong.

Bottle picked up from Belgiuminabox webshop, Antwerp, Belgium We had Pasta Carbonara for tea tonight which was very nice, listening to Vic Galloway sitting in for Gideon Coe on 6Music Thusday 19th November 2020. Pours black with with a small tan head. Quite a roasty but even a fruity, bitter impy,, coffee and chocolate, a little tang, barrel ageing is noted. Good, not hugely memorable but good.

Difficile de faire une meilleure alliance Base/Vieillissement en fût..tout est juste ici avec une parfaite adéquation entre une base d'Imperial Stout de très bonne facture aux arômes francs et intenses de café et chocolat qui sont respectés par ce vieillissement en fût d'Aquavit qui vient enrichir ces arômes et tonifiant l'ensemble. Le visuel est sur un brun très foncé quasi noir sans mousse. Joli nez pêchu ave des arômes de café frappé, de chocolat et d'Aquavit. L'attaque démarre par un Aquavit tonique, allié à des arômes de café, chocolat, caramel avec de légères épices. La deuxième bouche est sur un très beau café s'alliant parfaitement à l'aquavit. L’arrière-bouche est d'ailleurs un peu plus que l'aquavit, donnant du pep's sans être agressif. Le final et alors élégant, élancé et excellemment bien équilibré. Une grande bière.

Almost clear dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Palate is relatively light and finely crisp. Mellow dark malts, a mild creamy sweetness. Very mild coffee underneath. Plenty of fruity Aquavit on the back end. Soft finish leaves a pretty mild spicy bitterish linger. Hangs together well. Very light and consequently, dangerously drinkable.

Liquid is black as night, average head. Aroma of malt, chocolate. Medium body, little bit carbonation. Taste is bitter, a bit alcohol.
