16 oz can. Opaque brown pour with a large beige head and great nitro pour action. Excellent retention too. Good lacing. Dark chocolate nose. Dry roasted and dark cocoa flavor. I'm not getting any orange flavor though. Creamy, almost chalky mouthfeel. 6.0 ABV is undetectable. Good dry stout.

15.2 ounce can into imperial pint glass, best before 3/23/2017. Pours crystal clear very dark brown color with a 1 finger dense light khaki head with amazing retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings down the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, orange peel/zest, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, fudge, and toasted brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, nuttiness, smoke, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of cocoa, orange peel, dark/roast/bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, orange peel/zest, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, fudge, and toasted brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, nuttiness, smoke, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/roast bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, orange peel/zest, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, fudge, toasted brown bread, light coffee/nuttiness, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, balance, and solid robustness of cocoa, orange peel, dark/roast/bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slight dryness from roast/hop bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Light carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly silky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a nice fruited sweet stout. All around good complexity, balance, and solid robustness of cocoa, orange peel, dark/roast/bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. This was not as flavorful as I expected for a 6% stout; but still had satisfying and very well balanced flavors; with a nice creamy mouthfeel. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a snifter. Clear brown with very little head. Aroma is orange, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is orange and a little chocolate.

Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a black color with a small creamy light tan head that left great lacing. The aroma was chocolate, orange, cream and was a bit off and sour. The flavor was chocolate and orange followed by an off tinny and metallic note. Long finish. Medium body. Not good.

Nitro pint can from Total Wine, Gainesville. Pours dark brown with a soft, creamy tan head. The nitro thingy didn’t really seem to go off like the guinness one, but there’s still a small soft head. Aroma is chocolate orange, duh. Flavor is the same, but very candied. It tastes just like the weird chocolate orange candy I’ve had somewhere, but forget where and don’t really care since I don’t care if I ever have it again. The one that looks like an orange slice made of chocolate, but had that candy orange flavor inside. Yea. That’s what this tastes like. EDITED TO ADD: so I cut the can in half to get to the "widget" and it’s this thing that’s heavily glued to the bottom of the can... so much so that I can’t unhinge it. As much as I’d like to try, I’d prefer not gush blood tonight (and I have tried).

Umm. No. Chocolate is weak and I get no orange. Come on, Breckenridge.

Draft: Baker’s chocolate, orange aroma. Clear mahogany, medium creamy tan head. Raisin, tobacco, fudge and walnut at midpalate. Soil throughout. Medium body, soft, smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Surprising depth of richness, not much of an orange presence which is great.
