28/04/2018 – 10cl glass shared with an international ratebeer crew @ZBF2018 Clear golden. Nose and taste is full sweet apple.

Taster. Pours clear golden. Aroma is ripe pears, vanilla, wood, peach. Body is heavy and strong, hazelnut galore, super sweet, sour. Good, but not outstanding balance. Still, another great ice perry!

HUGE thanks to SinH4. Bottle sampled on train pre-ZBF 2018. Golden orange, lighter hue. Nose is low plastic, basic sweet apple juice. Simple but tasty sweet sugar, apple juice low plastic, no complexity, not as good as No. 1 but nice sweet sugar apple juice, low candy.

Sampled @ Zythos Bier Festival 2018. A clear dark golden colour. Aroma of intense sweet apples, concentrate apples. Taste of intense sweet apples, a bit dry apples, sugar.

Bottle. Deep amber color with no head. Aroma is pears, bratapfel, walnuts, almonds, plums. Taste is almonds, walnuts, pear juice, a touch mealy, tannins, cinnamon. A tiny touch of carbonation. Not exactly as intense as No. 1 (where our bottle leaked a bit), but almost as great - the aroma really loses, but it goes into the same direction. Very surprising that Austria can do this!
