Very fruity nose, fresh and acidic, you can tell it's pear. Caramel, sugars, well balanced with the acidity, big mouthfeel. Good complexity. Excellent fruit beverage!

Taster from bottle @ queue for MBCC '18 [ Yellow Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Genussbauernhof Distelberger Pyrus Glacialis Eis.birne No. 2 ].Clear medium yellow orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate apple - pear, peel, rich. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, tart pear, pear - apple, sugary, wood, dry, fruity, peel. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat. Sampled from bottle shared by SinH4 @ hotelroom tasting after Borefts 2018 Day 1. Clear dark golden to copper / light amber color. Aroma is much less intense than the number 1 Glacialis. Flavor though is, although also less intense, quite rich and full. Lingering sweet ripe thick rich apple flavor. Don't get pear, also not in no.1, as pear in my taste is much more soft sugary sweet instead of the sharp sugary sweetness I get in this. Quite pleasant though.

Golden. Aroma is pear, apple, sulfur, sour fruit. Taste is Apple juice, with some additional tannins and alcohol burn, raisin finish. Very heavy. Not so nice.

Bottle, thanks hubi. Nose is sweet pear, apple jam. Palate is a tad acidic, but also sweet pear. Not as good as it's brother.

Thnx to sinh4 . Pours golden. Smell is mild fruits. Not very intense. Taste is full, sweet, intense, fruity, sweether than #1 . I prefer this one.

Clear amber, a few bubbles. Sweet pear aroma, sherry like, light oxidation. Sweet, slighlty oxidised flavour. Nice. Sample from SinH4 in the MBCC2018 line.
