Bucktricity Kills is a light bodied pale yellow Berliner Weisse brewed with 50% malted white wheat. Notable aromas of wheat and yeast esters combine with some subtle citrus scents, creating a pleasantly refreshing nose. Delicate grain flavors give way to bright tart lemony qualities, slightly drying the palate, for an overall crisp clean finish.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and orange coloured body with a very thin white head, only a half centimetre tall. Aroma of wheat, grass, light coriander seed and herbal spices and a touch of full oranges. Light-bodied; Very mild flavour with a hint of yeast, wheat, grass and fruits, without any alcohol or pungency noticeable at all. Aftertaste has a light sweet and fruity flavour, some mellow malts with wheat and grass noticeable and very little else - some super mellow spices and herbs, and that's it - very mild. Overall, an interesting beer that doesn't drink as a Berliner at all, a very light beer that has a touch of a fruity flavour, but more of a super mild and subdued wheat ale than anything else. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Siciliano's in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 11-September-2015 for US$1,69 sampled at home in Washington on 31-August-2017.

12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a short lived bright white head. The aroma offers up sweet malts, sweet soft wheat, floral hops and then a light 7-Up soda quality. The taste delivers a blend of malt sweetened wheat, sweet fruity pear like esters and sharper lightly lemon citrus. It gets a tad soda like and yeasty toward the finish. Solid session brew but I’d prefer some sour mash going on in here and a little less sweet.

Bottle. Pours a near clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma is very yogurty with a bit of lemon and some sweet wheat supporting. Flavor has a light tartness but is mainly yogurt and earthy wheat.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/16/2015. Pours lightly hazy pale straw color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with solid retention, that reduces to a ring of lace that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of tart lemon, green apple, pear, white grape, hay, straw, grass, white vinegar, wheat, cracker, light funk, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of tart lemon, green apple, pear, white grape, hay, straw, grass, white vinegar, wheat, cracker, light funk, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/acidic tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart lemon, green apple, pear, white grape, hay, straw, grass, white vinegar, wheat, cracker, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Fair amount of dryness on the finish, but not overly dry with some light lingering flavors. Medium carbonation and light bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 3.2%. Overall this is a damn nice Berliner weisse. All around great robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/funky yeast and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

12 oz bottle. Pours a bright but lightly hazed pale yellow with a brief fizzy head. Lightly sour aroma. Flavor on the light side with a sourness, sometimes lemony, and some lightly toasted wheat. Solid.
