Bottle at the Crafty bottle Lincoln. Deep opaque amber colour with an off white head. Aroma malty and sweet caramel. Taste light a barley wine with a barrel hint of smoke. Full body.

Smell of caramel, oak. Cloudy copper colour, beige head. Aroma of caramel malt, oak, overripe fruit, vanilla, bourbon. Sweet. Lively carbon, surprisingly light body.

Bottle. Pours clear chestnut, large creamy beige head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is pine, caramel, light bourbon, vanilla, toffee. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, minimal barrel influence. Fullish body.

This beer is a slightly hazy reddish-brown color with a medium light beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of oak, burnt malt, caramel and pine. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, charred oak, piney hops and fruit. The finish is boozy with a resiny and fruity aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle from Beerfly, Bedford. Reddish-brown, translucent with barely any head. Toffee, juniper, bourbon and vanilla on the nose. The bourbon is strong in the taste, competing with the sweet malt notes and evening out to a nice balance. Short finish, living a sour boozy burn. Very nice but falling short of the very best ASAs.

0,355 l bottle from Beer Supreme, Oldenburg. Red brown in the glass, think it´s clear with a more than one finger pale beige head. Smell is a mix of malt and whiskey barrel. Taste has more whiskey than malt. Alcoholic. Caramell present in the background. Intensive hopy bitterness. Very low carbonation. Heavy stuff, definitive not for everyday.
