Draft from Waterfront Manhattan. Pours a paleish orange amber. Aroma is floral hops, actually the taste was not nearly as bitter and hoppy as I’d anticipated, not on the same level of a Stone Ruination or Dogfish 90. Pretty good though

Can shared at Columbus tasting 27/09/2018. Many thanks! A mostly clear bright orange coloured pour with a lasting halo of beige head. Aroma is orange rind, pine, petrol, toffee. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sticky pine, big firm hop bitterness, woody pine. Seriously old school, . Agressively bitter. Paalte sisemi sweet sticky, moderate carboantion.

Can split at L6, thanks to Leighton, 27/09/18. Hazed golden orange with a well presented off white head. Nose is bitter orange, caramel malts, grass, bitter tropical fruits. Taste comprises grassy bite, pine dusting, raw tropicana, toasted malts, orangepeel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness. So so old skool affair.

Can shared in London - picked up in the US. Pours clear orange with a foamy white head. Rich, semi-ripe citrus fruits, bitter pine and grass, sun-kissed pale malts. Medium to full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, resinous, bitter. Bit of an oldie but a goodie.

Level 6 bottleshare. Big thanks to Leighton for the can. Hazy amber gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slighty dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Malts are smooth and mildly sweet. A fair bit of resinous orange peel, bitter and spicy. Smooth dry finish. Rich and a little bitter. Interesting.

From mu brother: pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is resiny, some citrus, hints of pine. Definitely on the bitter side but it maintains a drinkability.

Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a bright golden-amber color with an enormous foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was tangy lemon, grapefruit and pine. The flavor was bitter with notes of cactus, lemon, grapefruit, pine, a bit of tropical fruits, tobacco and an astringent note. Wonderfully complex hop notes. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange color with a slim finger’s worth of white foamy head that quickly dissipated leaving some light clingy lacing sticking to the glass.
The smell starts off with a sharp peppered aroma over some light garlic and bringing out a sweet onion over light sweet honey tones, different but acceptable.
The taste was mainly bitter through some earthy peppery tones. Honey becomes super subdued but tries to balance. A long lingering peppery aftertaste leads into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a tad of sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed decent for the style and for me. A slick oily feel runs over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was an okay DIPA, a bit different from others yet stays within the style.
