bottle - Clear amber-orange pour, smells of hops with some citrus and pine character. Bitter flavor with mild citrus/pine notes. Caramel malt. Medium body. It's good though it doesn't really pop for me for some reason.

Super hazy amber and deep copper/bronzed body with a nice, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of rich caramel and toffee, nice amarillo and warrior hop notes of earth and floral elements and a grassy note as well, all with some noticeable alcohol around the edges. Full-bodied; Super rich and bitter flavour of the hops showing very deep earthy and metallic hop flavours with a lot of alcohol pungency at the tail end. Aftertaste shows the super pungent and alcohol-ridden bitterness from both hops and malt, then shows deep hops and caramel, but nothing sweet at all with this one - just a lot of alcohol and way more super bitterness and not in a good way. Overall, not such a great beer and I was hoping for much more, but this was a let down all around. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchantβs in Dearborn, Mich igan on 24-July-2015 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 08-March-2016.

Bottle, rating from a (small back log). Pours crystal clear orange with a small white head that dissipates quickly with good lacing. Aroma is breaty, caramel, pine. Flavor is the same, light bitter, light plus sweet. Medium body.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 2/11/2014. Pours lightly hazy pale orange amber color with a 2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, strawberry, peach, mango, passion fruit, orange peel, lemon zest, caramel, bread, floral, grass, light pine, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity of citrus/tropical hops with a good amount of malt balance; with good strength. Taste of big tangerine, strawberry, peach, mango, passion fruit, orange peel, lemon zest, floral, grass, light pine, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, strawberry, peach, mango, passion fruit, orange peel, lemon zest, floral, grass, light pine, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity of big citrus/tropical hops with a good amount of malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, smooth, and fairly crisp/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a small warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent DIPA! All around great complexity of citrus/tropical hops and balanced malt sweetness; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

On tap at Odd Side. Hazy gold. Not much aroma. Flavor is sweet with oranges and ginger. Not picking up the peppercorn. Nice feel and flavor.
