Proost!

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color, no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, moderate notes of dark malts, light bourbon (however I didn't clean the glass after the last beer so probably it's left over beer from the previous beer), malty bitter in a light way. Pretty nice. I like it.

Black with lasting thin head. It's perhaps more of a Belgian Dark Ale than a stout. Misses some roasted bitterness. Is fairly sweet.

Zwart bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is zoet, warm en krachtig met iets van koffie, bittere chocolade en vanille. Zou iets meer stevigheid mogen hebben.

Bottle thanks to Markoijelena in the recent EU swap. Cheers. Aroma has rich creamy coffee, dough, nuts, dark fruit and eventually liquorice takes precedence. Dark. Cola brown tint. Beige head soon almost disappeared. Medium-heavy bitter. Liquorice. Instant coffee. Molasses then appears. A touch of booze. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Long relatively astringent finish. A pleasant Impy Stout. It slips down rather than being a sipper but it's certainly layered.

Bottle from beerware.nl. Dark brown/black colour, brown foam. Roasty, coffee, some ashes, nice roasty and bitter, some light malty sweetness. Very nice classical imperial stout! No adjuncts needed!

Bottle. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Coffe, roasted malt, vanilla. Taste: Roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, vanilla. Hints of liquorice. Smooth mouthfeel. Dry-ish. Medium sweet, over moderate bitter. Little boozy. Long lasting coffee finish. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Not that complex, but quite nice.
