22 June 2020. At Cafe Frape, Maastricht. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear golden with a lasting, small, foamy, white head; some lacing. Aroma of yeast, apple peel, pear, peanut, biscuit, breadcrust. Taste has sweet apple & pear, touch of sour citrus, quite some yeast pairing with bready maltiness; softly bitter grassy hops in the finish, plain malty & yeasty still. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Lacking some hoppy 'fragrance' to really qualify as an IPA, disappointed.

Draught. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, toffeesh and some mild bready notes. Flavour is fruity, yeasty, toffeeish and some mild toasted notes. Tasty and pleasantly balanced. Long floral and bitter aftertaste.

Draught. Rated on 22.06.2016
Aroma has grain, hayish tones, hay and mild fruitiness. Rather grainy and hayish for an IPA. Flavour has minerals, some peaches and grainy malt. Finishes with grass. Rather aggressive hops for a Dutch IPA. Way too dry for my taste.
