You love big, bold hoppy IPA’s. We get it. We love them, too. That’s why we put 600 pounds of hops in every tank of our Hop Lift IPA. Getting that many hops 40 feet up in the air and into our fermenter is no easy task. But we’re up for it. And when you taste this bold, dry-hopped brew bursting with citrus and passion fruit notes, you’ll be glad we did. How we do it, we’ll never tell. Do you need a hop lift today?

16 ounce can from Aldi Appleton, 7/22/19. Copper with a slight haze. Large foamy white head, fair retention. Aroma of floral, soapy, and citrus hops, pale malt. Taste is grapefruit, lemon, soap, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy. Kinda old school. Decent execution. Moderate lingering bitterness.

Overall dreadful IPA, more in line with a modest pale ale than anything resembling a hop bomb. Biscuit and caramel malts with a moderate fruitiness are the defining characteristics; hops provide a smidgen of citrus, a hint of bitterness, but come on. IPA? Nah. Hard pass.

Kind of an odd Pine resin IPA that is not in balance. All the qualities don't complement one another it can be sweet in one area but not matched by the correct bitterness or hop qualities in another likewise with the body it's just nothing seems to work together. It's not a bad beer but nothing I would look for again unless there are no other options. They need another brewmaster.

16oz can. very basic IPA, though for $6.99 for a 4 pack, hard to complain. Decent flavor, very tame.

16oz. Can: (6.99 4pk @ Aldis) Clear gold with a tall, puffy off-white head. Grapefruit, orange aroma. Taste is mildly sweet orange malt, grapefruit, pineapple.... A touch of bittering....orange-peel, pine, with a bit of spiciness to it.....increasing Hoppiness as it warms.... A little on the dull side, but decent....it could just use a little zestiness.

Pounder from Aldi Waynesboro VA: Mild lemongrass nose. Clear amber, medium head, good lace. Lemongrass, quite vegetal midpalate. Light body, easy carbonation. Even for the relatively low price I paid for this, it wasn’t worth it.

Copper color. Moderate amount of grassy hopsin the aroma, the beer seems fresh. Mildly bitter hop flavor, clearly an ipa, so decent quality here.

On tap a New Bohemia. Pours clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light citrus and grass with a hay note supporting. Flavor has more citrus with grass and grains supporting.
