(Bottle) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted, vinous nose with notes of dark chocolate, nuts, dried apricots, dark bread, butterscotch, oak wood, vanilla, rum, bourbon and treacle. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with oak wood, bourbon, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, dried apricots, dark bread, rum raisins, vanilla, maple syrup and a mild roasty bitterness in a heavy, warming finish. Full body, sweet. Sweet and boozy, but really rich and tasty. Great beer!

Dark brownish black, thick, small layer of light brown foam. Smell is rich, licorice, rum and maple. Great thickness, pretty boozy. Taste is big salty licorice, scoop of maple, big dose of rum and some soft bourbon. Intense flavours, and damn delicious.

Bottle, 330 ml at X. Shared with Miro B and Rali. Black with tan head. Chocolate, coffee, maple, some bourbon, wood, dense, moderate sweetness. Medium bodied.

Pours black, small, bigg bubbled, short-lived tanned head. Scent is dark roasty, very mild aclohol (very hidden) . Rum barrel, but not overpowering. Mild, very mild bourbon. Perhaps teraces of maple, but not intense. Taste is full, so creamy, intensely JWB style roasty, smooth and sweet base. Bit higher in carbo (still low) than JWb on itself, also a tad more dry (still very sweet though, just not AS sweet as JWB typically is). Maple is very mild, to even totally hidden. Just very damn nice, but nothing much éxtra. Noticable strong alcohol ending, but not boozy.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, light roastyness, chocolate, maple sirup notes, light sweet, medium bitter. Full body, oily texture, malty chocolate bitter sweet finish with light alcohol notes. Very good.
