Gyle No. 427. In March 2016 we devoted a third of our cellar capacity to a single beer, DIPA v3. We are excited to brew it again as faithfully as we can to the original recipe. Hot side additions see the return of whole cone, new season Chinook and Citra hops, followed by an 8 g/L cold side dry hop, featuring Centennial, Citra, Mosaic, and Comet. It was fermented with WLP095 instead of the original Vermont ale yeast. 8.5% ABV

Aroma Hops: Centennial, Citra, Mosaic, Comet
Bittering Hop: Pilgrim CO2 Alpha Extract
Malts: Golden Promise
Yeast: WLP095

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a huge off-white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma of honey, orange and pine. Flavour of marmalade, candied orange peel and resin. Medium to full body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. It’s quite sweet but very good overall.

Can. CW online. Delivered in a day. Got to love Parcelforce. Orange gold. Light haze. Foamy, lasting, white head. Nose has peach and squeezed orange. Soft herb. Some rose petal type flora. Pear drops, maybe. Some pineapple. Taste is slick and sweet, with a light, fleshy citrus bitterness. Oily mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Fruity bitter finish. Decent.

Appearance- murky amber, lots of bubbles rising, a thick white rocky head. Aroma- hop resin, onion, mango, orange, pineapple, grapefruit, tropical fruits, caramel, lots of fruity hops. Taste- juicy hops, orange peel, pineapple, grapefruit juice, hop resin, hints of onion on the end, clinging bitter hops, fruit juice. Juicy and sticky mouthfeel, clings and is very lengthy at the end. Sweet malty undertones.
