0.33l swingtop bottle. A really deep and dark brown - near black one in the glass with a good looking really huge almost creamy-fluffy dark ashy brown colored head. The nose is not directly what I would call extreme, but it's still present with a little chocolate, a sour thing in the background and dark malts. It really doesn't smell like it looks. It has a really nice oily mouthfeel with a comfortable above average carbonation level. That sourness in the aroma is also present in the taste. It's woody-chocolate and a little bit sweet also. The slightly sourness actually works very well here. Making it a bit more interesting. Sour licorice? Is that a thing? Slightly peppery in the aftertaste. Interesting. 05.10.2013

swing top bottle 330ml. -from trade with CH-303 (thanks Asbjorn!). Almost black coloured, medium sized beige head, dried fruits in the nose. Roasted malt, strong dried fruits, mild smoke and alcohol with touch of raisins in slightly vinous finish. Not bad but expected better brew.

Bottle at Café des Amis. Nice roast aroma, mostly coffee, and lots of it. Good balance of bitterness, coffee, and a slightly sweet backbone. Well-balanced and smooth.

Bottle [from trade with CH-303, thanks!] @ home. Dark brown color with a huge and wite long lasting beige to light brown head. Aroma is malts, sweetish and brown sugar. Tastes about the same, especially the brown malts and brown sugar are dominant. A little too sweet for me to really like it. Decent body, soft carbonation.
Sweet and milky. Incredible action.

Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso - Dupont. Poured a dark brown color, some ruby notes on the edges. Flavor was light roasted malts, some light coffee. Flavor was light roasted notes, dry malts. Pretty tasty, easy to drink despite the ABV.
