Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours black with a creamy brown head, heavy lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, alcohol. Flavor is light sweet, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, licorice, wood, alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 040316

Bottle, 11.9%. Almost black with tiny beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, wood, hop and vanilla. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, wood, little liquorice, medium sweet, hop and bitter.

Draft sampled at PINT Winterbier festival Gouda 2016. Dark brown/black, head already disappeared. Coffee candy, dark fruits, espresso, chocolate, vanilla, mocca. Rich sweetness with a light bitter touch. Smooth rich body. Black with a thick head coloured like a creme brulee. Some grassy, notes in the aroma. Rich and oily texture. The roasted bitterness grows and grows with hints of charcoal in the aftertaste. Warming and a bit boozy.

33cl bottle. Bottled on 12/2014. Pours pitch black with a thin brown head. Quite massive. Licorice, molasses, roasted malt, dark chocolate in aroma. Balancing sweetness, massive roast, coffee and ash. Full bodied. Awesome sipper.
